Prescription Food? Maybe.

Imagine receiving a diagnosis and prescription from your physician. Glancing down at the often cryptic note, you're startled to see several phrases very clearly written, "Farmacy, Registered Dietician, eat more vegetables, visit the Farmer's Market".

What? Were you thinking the prescription would be an increase in your blood pressure medication or another pain reliever? Maybe it's time the health care community encouraged, or even prescribed, healthy eating.
